Okay
Obviously I dont mean it.
Don't you dare hail him
Don't even think about it.
Hes an unworthy piece of shit that deserves nothing more than a swift kick to the groin.

...okay i take that back.
He doesnt deserve that.
But I would say its fairly apparent that I am upset

Why, you may ask?
Because... I'm in love.
And its become quite obvious to me that being in love means being miserable.
Sounds fun right?
Yeah... not always.

"Falling in love", they say it for a reason.
Falling is painless, graceful, silent..
but upon impact, becomes extremely painful, sometimes fatal.
Which just so happens to describe the feeling to a T.

Heres a scenario for you:
Girl meets boy
Girl likes boy (generally accompanied by butterflies)
Boy flirts with Girl (here come the butterflies again)
Girl falls for Boy (this is where the sayin comes into play. this part is graceful)
then...
BOY STOMPS ON GIRLS HEART!
and shabam, bring on the pain.

With that said, perhaps falling into love is not the part to worry about
perhaps the damage is all in the aftermath of falling in love..

Even so, if we know the indefinite hurt that tags along with falling in love
then why do we jump?
the answer is simple...
we LIKE being miserable.

Is it possible that we as humans actually enjoy this pain we call love?
If not, why else do so many of us strive to achieve it
some even going as far as setting themselves up for heartache, just to find their potential chosen one.
Seems like the dumbest idea known to man
Yet, we all do it.
I know I have

And this is where my dilemma begins.
Seems as if my "chosen one" has someone else in mind as HIS "chosen one"
This is where I say, eff my life.

I met
I like
I flirt
I jump
I fell
and... I crash

No one was waiting at the bottom to catch me from my freefall
and I in turn was faced to suffer the full extent of my injuries.
I should be pro at this freefalling by now though
Not as if i've never made this jump before.
I should know by now to not depend on another to save me.
Sometimes you have to save yourself.

So let me leave you with this,
next time you decide to face your own freefall
make sure to have your parachute cord in hand
you know... just incase.
