So this is great.
I meet this guy
great catch
rough around the edges, but overall amazing.
can't take my eyes off him
hes perfect..

okay, wrong word choice
perfect is a terrible word to use.
hes far from it.
lots of drama is associated with him
it stalks him, i swear.
do i like that? hmm... not entirely.
hes had quite the history
and i have to admit, it scares me

does someone wanna explain to me why i go for the bad boys?
the ones with the wild personalities, cute smiles, hot bodies, a crazy past...

okay the hot body is definitely a brownie point earner
but that can't be it.
i'll tell you the real reason why girls go for the bad boys....

because they think they can change them

...i'll give you this time to giggle quietly to yourself...

yes, change them.
funny thing is, we all know its not gonna happen.
when do they REALLY change?
not often, i'll say that much.
now before you think im going sexist here, ill make it clear that even girls are this stubborn.
no one will change unless they themselves want to change
end of story
you will not make him a "better person"
you will not "tame the wild beast"
he will tame himself when he is ready
until then, have fun on the ride he takes you on.
thing is, us girls can't seem to help ourselves.
its not like we don't know in advance what we're getting ourselves into
bad boys will be bad boys. this seems logical.
but in reality, it's idiotic.

what do girls want? jerks? no.
they want the sweet, caring kind.
the kind that puts her first above all
makes time for her
tells her he misses her
holds her like he should.
these all seem like nice ideas
but then again, this is not enough for us female species.
no, he must be the strong one in the relationship.
sensitive, but tough
loving, but aggressive
easy going, but jealous
see the pattern here?
how confusing is it to hear you must be everything, PLUS the opposite
correct me if im wrong but i believe that is impossible.
really, if you think about it, is there ever a happy medium?
can bad boys ever REALLY win?
can good boys ever really win?
perhaps it's fair game after all..

now, will i ever learn from my mistakes?
probably not
at least, not any time soon.
for now, i'm slightly enjoying the craziness of a wild child
its fun, exhilarating even.
so ill sit back and enjoy the ride
who knows, the bad boy may not be so bad after all.
